Learning Support Assistant – Yate

ASAP start at a primary mainstream school in Yate.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs? If you are compassionate, patient, and dedicated, you could be the difference-maker these children need as a Learning Support Assistant.

Role Overview

Your role will encompass individual one-to-one support as well as guiding small group learning and activities in a well-respected primary school located in Yate.

Salary & Hours

£80 – £95 per day • Full-time (8:30am‑3:30pm)

Requirements
  • Empathetic and skilled in building meaningful relationships with children.
  • Ability to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, educational psychologists, and other professionals.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of personalized educational plans.
  • Create and adapt support materials to facilitate success in a mainstream classroom environment.
  • Foster an engaging and stimulating classroom learning experience.
