Masterclass are working alongside a forward-thinking and inclusive special educational needs institution dedicated to providing a supportive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join the team and support students in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional assistance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (EHCP's) and support strategies.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENCO.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources to support learning activities.
• Supervise students during break times and school activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and well-being.

Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
