A specialist educational provider in Kidderminster is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role involves providing 1:1 support, managing challenging behaviour, and promoting a nurturing environment. Ideal candidates should have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and preferably experience with SEN. This temporary position has the potential to become permanent based on performance. Salary Scale: £90 - 95 a day
Contract type: Day to Day Cover, Short and Long Term – starting ASAP
We are currently burying a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH/Autism provision in Kidderminster. You will have the opportunity to use restorative practices to support our students in their social and emotional development, speech, language and communication difficulties and autism, children aged between 5 and 19 years old.
We believe that empathy is of the utmost importance in working with young people, and we encourage our staff to build strong relationships with our students from the very beginning. In your role as a Teaching Assistant, you will focus on building these relationships in the first weeks, while also displaying your academic potential and social maturity.
