A community-focused school in Bolton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support learners and promote their achievements across the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong interpersonal skills, and a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification. The role offers a supportive team environment, and candidates should have prior experience in a similar educational setting. This position includes a salary of £18,663.19 to £20,122.86 per annum and the possibility of fixed-term or permanent contracts.
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to provide support for learners across the curriculum so that they secure swift progress. We are looking for an exceptional colleague with the ability to work effectively within a team environment, a general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities, a passion for ensuring that each and every learner flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements, the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with learners, to treat them consistently with respect and consideration and demonstrate concern for their development as learners, strong inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence, Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification, and previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school.
30 hours per week, term time only working 8.40am - 3.10pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays and 8.40am till 4pm on Tuesdays. Required for as soon as possible, fixed term and permanent contracts available.
