Job Description – Leakage Supervisor

Location : Southern Water (Field & Office-Based)

Hours : Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Reports to : Project / Programme Manager

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Leakage Supervisor to oversee a team of Leakage technicians working on the Southern Water programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations, ensuring the quality and accuracy of leakage activities, and supporting the delivery of project objectives. This is a hands‑on supervisory role that requires strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills, with a focus on health & safety and performance delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision : Lead, manage, and support a team of Leakage Technicians, ensuring daily tasks and schedules are achieved.
  • Operational Oversight : Coordinate field activities including Leakage, equipment use, and data collection, ensuring compliance with programme standards.
  • Quality Control : Monitor Leakage activities, verify accuracy of results, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Health & Safety : Promote and enforce safe working practices in line with company and industry standards. Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments as required.
  • Planning & Scheduling : Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.
