A local council in the UK is looking for a Lead Waste and Recycling Advisor to join its team. In this fixed term role, you will lead a small team and engage with residents and businesses to implement new recycling initiatives. An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Waste and Recycling Advisor - Fixed term to join our waste and recycling team. You will lead a team of 3 Waste and Recycling Advisors, and together you will help guide and support our residents through the forthcoming waste and recycling service changes for 2025 and 2026.
Are you good at working with and helping people? You will be able to engage, and build excellent relationships with our residents, businesses, and other key stakeholders, providing information that will help drive behaviour change. This will involve answering customer enquiries, processing requests, and resolving issues. We must ensure our residents are fully informed and able to participate in the new recycling initiatives and you will be pivotal to the success of the service changes and the anticipated increase in recycling across the district.
