East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking two passionate Lead Teachers to provide leadership in our Early Head Start classrooms in Newport, Warren, and East Providence, RI. This is your opportunity to build a rewarding career while making a lasting impact on children's development during their most formative years.
As an Early Head Start Lead Teacher, you'll create nurturing, safe learning environments while providing guidance to your classroom team. You'll implement evidence-based approaches that promote each child's cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development while ensuring family engagement and support.
Candidates must have excellent presentation, leadership, and management skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, children, and colleagues. You must have ONE of the following:
*Related fields include: Human Development, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, Pediatric Nursing, Home Economics/Family & Consumer Science, Physical Education & Recreation, and Child & Family Studies.
Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
