Job description

You will be responsible for the operational management of the Damp and Disrepair section within the Repairs & Maintenance division, ensuring professional planning and direction of the service, meeting the requirements of Awaabs Law.

Duties will include ensuring the service is compliant with legislation, regulation and AWAAB's law. Establishing clear business goals whilst ensuring it is delivering positive outcomes for people. You will contribute to meeting the Councils priorities by ensuring the delivery of quality, consistent and value for money services through effective service and business planning, budget and performance management.

We have high expectations that services are customer focussed and high performing, making the best use of resources available to contribute to the Council goals of proud, fair and ambitious.

As this is a Senior position, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience at a similar level within the organisation, together with excellent people management skills, and accomplished business and financial acumen.
