We're working with Rocksteady Studios as they seek to bring in a Lead Rendering Programmer to lead, support and provide technical guidance to their team of experienced Rendering Programmers.

As Lead Rendering Programmer you'll be working closely with the Engine Director and other tech leads, helping to ensure the team delivers the systems needed to create the highest quality game experience for players in line with the artistic vision of the project's Art Director.

You’ll also be applying your technical ability directly by writing code, making optimisations, and resolving complex and challenging issues.

Rocksteady is an award‑winning, critically acclaimed developer, founded in 2004, they are best known as the studio behind the widely celebrated Batman : Arkham series.

Their philosophy for game development is all about treating people well to create quality entertainment that stands the test of time. They’re a one‑project studio that built their success by combining genre‑defining gameplay and character‑driven cinematic narrative with AAA production values. Your responsibilities
  • Leading, supporting and providing technical guidance for a team of experienced Rendering Programmers

  • Developing rendering features and systems
  • Profiling, optimising, and helping set budgets
  • Coming up with creative solutions to support content creators
  • Leading by example in development best practices
  • Maintaining and improving team effectiveness and efficiency
