Lead Psychologist – Location: London • Hours: 37.5 per week • Salary: Up to 70,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Psychologist (Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling) to join our specialist team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to take on a senior leadership role, shaping psychological practice within a dynamic service supporting individuals with complex and challenging behaviours.

About the Role

As Lead Psychologist, you will:

  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Offer clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychologists and wider professionals.
  • Contribute to service development, ensuring high standards of care and innovation.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address the needs of individuals with drug, alcohol, and associated behavioural challenges.
  • Support training, reflective practice, and staff wellbeing initiatives.
About You

We are looking for a psychologist with:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in complex care, substance misuse, or challenging behaviours.
  • Proven leadership and supervision skills.
  • A flexible, resilient, and compassionate approach to working with service users and teams.
