Qualifications

  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy practice is essential.
  • Continuing professional development (CPD) maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pharmacist for rheumatology services.
  • Support Biologics Review Clinics.
  • Manage Homecare services and funding applications.

Skills

Good ability to organise and prioritise work
Good clinical practice knowledge
Experience with electronic prescribing systems
Good ability to use computer systems (Excel, Word)

Education

Masters Degree in Pharmacy
Higher degree or diploma in clinical pharmacy
Qualified as an Independent Prescriber
Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
