Qualifications

• Significant post registration experience at band 5 or above.
• Acute Children's ward experience.
• Experience in managing the ward on a regular basis.

• Assist in leading the nursing team and deputise in their absence.
• Monitor standards of care and take appropriate actions.

Skills

Ability to document legibly and precisely

Interest & experience in teaching

Competent in IV drug administration

Education

RSCN or RN Child

Mentorship level 5/6 or applied for

Functioning at minimum diploma level
