Overview

Our client is seeking a Lead Model Validation Analyst / Developer to take responsibility for the design, oversight, and governance of key financial models across marketing, acquisitions, customer management, and impairment provisioning. This is a strategic position that combines model development expertise with strong model risk management oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the model risk management agenda, ensuring conceptual soundness and technical integrity of all models and scorecards models.
  • Oversee model performance monitoring, recalibrations, and stress testing.
  • Collaborate with first-line teams to address model risks and strengthen design robustness.
  • Develop and refine models aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
  • Produce comprehensive model documentation and validation reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 9 and internal model risk governance standards.

Continuously enhance model risk methodologies and frameworks.

Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Maths, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science); Ph.D. preferred.
