Job summary

A national healthcare provider in Dundee is seeking a full-time Consultant in Plastic Surgery with a focus on hand surgery. The position requires GMC registration and MRCS (or equivalent). In this role, the successful candidate will join a team of experienced surgeons, primarily handling emergency and elective hand surgeries, while also performing some general plastic surgeries. Opportunities for engagement across a broad spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgeries are available.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be GMC registered and have MRCS (or equivalent).
• They must also be on the GMC Specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in hand surgery, both emergency and elective.
• Participate in general plastic surgery including skin cancer surgery.
• Join a team of Consultant Plastic Surgeons.

Education

GMC registration

MRCS or equivalent

GMC Specialist registration or CCT within 6 months of interview
