Job summary

A tech consulting firm is looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer to support a major UK government programme. You will be responsible for designing modern user interfaces and developing secure, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java and at least one other back-end language, along with expertise in React. This is a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes that requires SC clearance. Competitive day rate of up to £650 is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering complex full-stack applications.
• Commercial expertise in Java plus at least one other back-end language (ideally Python).
• Solid experience with React and modern front-end tooling.
• Strong API design and integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern, responsive user interfaces.
• Develop using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Design and develop APIs and services.
• Deploy and operate services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Lead and participate in code reviews.
