Job summary

A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry to join the team at Ty Llewelyn Mental Health Unit. The role involves providing overall psychiatric care to inpatients and managing community forensic services, with a focus on leadership within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have full GMC Specialist Registration and relevant qualifications, with a competitive salary ranging from £110,240 to £160,951 per annum pro rata.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Specialist Registration or within 6 months of obtaining CCT.
• MRCPsych or equivalent approved.
• Evidence of commitment to forensic psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall psychiatric care to the inpatient population.
• Offer medical leadership within the multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage and assess both inpatients and community forensic mental health services.
