Estimator looking to lead construction estimating in a fast-growing, award-winning organisation offering progression into Senior Management?

As a Senior Estimator, you'll interpret drawings, build competitive quotes and technical schedules, and guide best practice across the estimating function. This Senior Estimator role blends hands‑on construction estimating with team leadership and clear progression towards senior management.

Role Snapshot / Features

• Interpret construction drawings; prepare detailed, competitive estimating schedules and quotes
• Build cost plans, re‑price updates and issue variations for live projects
• Work with an internal structural team to check basic calculations to current standards
• Lead and develop Design Engineers – set expectations, delegate, review performance
• Run clear handovers to the project team when orders land
• Engage customers via calls/emails; attend office/site meetings when required
• Deliver product presentations and occasional site‑installation training
• Champion Health & Safety; maintain quality and compliance in all outputs

You'll Need

• Several years' experience in a construction estimating / technical role
• Proven leadership and people‑management skills
• Strong analytical/problem‑solving; commercially aware and target‑driven
• Confident interpreting drawings and understanding construction processes/standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and organisation
