A leading energy technology company in Scotland is seeking a Lead Engineer Materials Science to oversee materials engineering for Subsea Production Systems projects. The ideal candidate will hold a BSc or MSc in Materials Engineering and have significant experience in the field, preferably within the oil and gas industry. We collaborate with multiple internal teams across the subsea product groups to make sure that our materials meet the design requirements and manufacturing schedule required to create our final product. Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams.
You will be responsible for the materials engineering deliverables at product level on Subsea Production Systems projects globally. The role is part of the SPS Global Materials Engineering department and will work in close cooperation with Regional and Product line Engineering Departments.

This role is located at our Aberdeen Engineering Centre. Familiarity with Subsea Production Systems in general and Well Systems, Wellheads and Casing Systems equipment specifically is desirable but not mandatory.
