Our client is seeking a Lead Engineer to support a large-scale Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) deployment. The role focuses on environment management, provisioning, and deployment strategy, including the build, configuration, and optimization of D365 environments while advising on best practices for licensing, deployment, and integration readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Provision sandbox, demo, and production environments using Lifecycle Services (LCS), including Dataverse and SQL configuration.
• Manage the full deployment life cycle across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
• Apply and manage application updates, including binary packages, version validation, and rollback procedures.
• Design environment strategies for multi-region rollouts, pilot systems, and parallel operations.
• Configure environment-level security, user roles, and access controls in line with compliance standards.
• Prepare environments for integration with Power Platform, Dual Write, and external systems.
• Monitor environment health using LCS telemetry and troubleshoot provisioning/deployment issues.
• Produce detailed documentation covering configurations, deployment steps, and governance controls.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers to coordinate pipelines, automate deployments, and integrate source control.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years\' experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment management.
• Strong expertise with Lifecycle Services (LCS), Dataverse, and SQL database configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute environment provisioning strategies for large programmes.
• Skilled in managing version control, binary package updates, and deployment life cycles.
• Proficiency in configuring environment security, roles, and access management.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform integrations, Dual Write, and external system endpoints.
• Track record of troubleshooting complex deployment issues using monitoring and telemetry tools.
• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD, pipelines, and source control integration.
• Active SC Clearance required.
