What will you be doing?

• Driving our fantastic fleet safely, smoothly with confidence
• Making sure every single passenger has a great journey
• Supporting drivers and managers to ensure top-notch customer service, helping people of all ages and backgrounds
• Creating a welcoming environment for our driving team where they feel respected, cared for and looked after
• Working flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Working proactively with our engineering team delivering our services and managing run in and run out every day

Our Inverness depot

At our Inverness depot, we operate a fleet of 63 buses and coaches covering the areas of Inverness and the wider North Scotland area with a team of 115 drivers. As a lead driver you will also support our joint venture / Citylink services.

The lead driver plays a vital role in supporting our daily bus operations by supervising driver performance, ensuring service reliability and fostering cooperation between operations and engineering teams.

This role combines leadership responsibilities with driving duties, acting as a key point of contact between our drivers and management team. You’ll be a key member of staff who will maintain the highest standards of safety, service and professionalism.
