  • Shape the design, support, and improvement of database and infrastructure services.
  • Make informed design choices that maintain reliable services aligned with DWP needs.
  • Provide guidance to senior engineers on complex technical challenges.
  • Support junior colleagues in skill development and growth.
  • Transform risks and raw data into insights for informed decision-making by leaders.
  • Represent the department with external partners and promote good engineering practices.

  • Technical leadership experience and ability to support Infrastructure Engineers.

  • Experience in guiding roadmap and architecture work and managing major incidents.
