Overview

Capability Lead – Cyber Security – Permanent | South West | Agile and hybrid working available

Responsibilities
  • Lead the launch of a new cyber capability and shape a new cyber security business unit within a well-established technical consultancy.
  • Take ownership of strategy, sales and delivery in partnership with a respected organisation, balancing autonomy with meaningful impact.
  • Define and implement the cyber security strategy, develop sales plans and lead client engagement across new and existing accounts.
  • Negotiate deals and collaborate with technical and delivery teams to build a high-performing capability that supports critical national infrastructure and defence programmes.
  • Support the cyber security elements of current and upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
Flexibility

Agile and hybrid working options are available, with a base location in the South West. The role is designed for professionals who value flexibility while driving forward strategic growth.

What you’ll bring
  • Experience in cyber security, ideally in safety-related or assurance roles.
  • Strong understanding of information assurance, cyber consulting and industry standards; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCP, CISA or ITIL.
  • Experience with MOD, HMG, SCADA, ICS or critical infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Confident communicator, strategic thinker and natural relationship builder with a collaborative mindset and a drive to deliver results.
