Qualifications

  • Experience of working with older adults with mental health needs.
  • Experience of working in a Community setting.
  • Experience of working with service users with organic and functional illnesses.
  • Experience of supervising junior staff/students.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Memory Assessments (training will be given).
  • Complete initial assessments.
  • Participate in Duty Rota.
  • Nursing Needs Assessments.

Skills

Understanding of the role of Community Mental Health Teams
Up-to-date knowledge of mental health legislation

Education

Registered to practice/evidence of revalidation
