Job summary

A leading mental health care provider in Devizes is seeking a Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to provide clinical leadership and support home-based care. The role includes assessing and treating patients, leading acute care pathways, and participating in continuing professional development. Ideal candidates will have an MB BS or equivalent, MRCPsych qualifications, and relevant experience in community settings.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
• Experience of assessing and treating patients in a community setting.
• Experience or involvement in a research project and publication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and consultation for Intensive Team members.
• Assess and treat patients referred to the Intensive Team.
• Teach and supervise medical students.
