Lead Compliance Manager - New role for the Business! Location: Northern Ireland. Contract: Full-time, Permanent with an Attractive Salary and Benefits!

MCS Group are pleased to be working with a long-established and market-leading family-owned business with operations across various food & drink areas to recruit for a Lead Compliance Manager. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring compliance with current and future legislation while protecting the financial and reputational integrity of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead compliance activity across all business areas in Northern Ireland.
  • Implement and manage legislative changes (e.g. Windsor Framework, DRS, EPR, AWRS).
  • Develop, update, and oversee compliance policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors, government bodies, and trade associations.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the compliance team.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate and compliant processes.
About You
  • Degree or diploma in a business-related field.
  • Proven compliance experience in wholesale, retail, or alcohol environments.
  • Strong knowledge of industry legislation (e.g. Windsor Framework, Plastic Tax, Tobacco Track and Trace).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Analytical, detail-focused, and highly organised.
  • Strong leadership with experience managing and developing teams.
