Just finished your Law degree and wondering where to start? At Gallagher Bassett, you’ll join our in-house law firm, Strata Solicitors, as a Claims Handler, working on real cases, with real clients, from day one.
Based in our Northampton office, you’ll be part of a team that supports people through some of life’s most challenging moments. We’ll back your development with financial support towards professional legal qualifications – whether that’s the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) or another recognised legal route.
After completing your three-month probation, you’ll be able to work from home two days a week – between Monday and Thursday – from the comfort of your own space, with the remaining days spent in our well-equipped Northampton office.
Our clients may have had a car accident or a car stolen, and they’ll phone you to help them with their insurance claim. It’ll be your job to work with the ‘claimant’ and the insurance company to gather all evidence, establish liability, and quantify the claim to achieve swift settlement.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients reach swift and fair settlements and in doing so, you’ll build the foundations of a meaningful legal career.
