Laundry Assistant
Housekeeping - Earlsferry House Care Home
Contract: Part Time

Earlsferry House is set in a stunning location in the coastal town of Elie and Earlsferry. The home provides Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for 26 residents.

We are looking for a meticulous Laundry Assistant to deliver top-quality laundry services for our residents, ensuring their personal clothing and linen are well cared for. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will make a real difference to daily life in the home.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • 22 hours per week (4 x 6-hour shifts)
  • Paid PVG, Pension
  • Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
You will manage all residents’ personal clothing and linen with care, maintaining a clean and organised laundry area. You will ensure all items are properly labelled, kept in good repair, and returned to the correct resident. You will follow Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, keep equipment in safe working order, and proactively address any spillages or issues. As part of the team, you will attend training sessions, contribute to meetings, and support a friendly, collaborative working environment. Your work will help ensure residents’ comfort and quality of life every day.
