Job description

LOCATION: CASTLEPOINT SHOPPING CENTRE

PAY RATE: £28k per annum

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 days between Monday & Saturday

Overview

Main Duties & Responsibilities: To ensure our outdoor spaces are well maintained and visually appealing by providing optimum levels of maintenance to trees, shrubs and all landscape areas. This involves mowing, trimming hedges, weeding, planting and general upkeep. To support our aim to meet biodiversity net gain targets by restoring habitats and supporting healthier, more resilient communities. Maintain equipment and tools in good working order through regular cleaning & servicing. Adhering to procedures and safe working practices on site. To ensure fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that teamwork thrives.

Person Specification

A good plant knowledge and an engaging mind towards nature are a prerequisite. Candidates must be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic and capable of performing strenuous tasks in a demanding outdoor environment.

Essential:

• A valid/clean driving licence.
• Good level of fitness
