You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality survey services, supporting both the in‑house survey and construction teams. The role

Based in Cardiff, you will work both on‑site and in‑office as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking land and topographic surveys using specialist equipment
  • Operating and maintaining survey equipment, ensuring calibration and correct use
  • Analysing and preparing survey data for handover
  • Producing site records and required deliverables
  • Advising on technical survey matters
  • Supporting and mentoring in‑house engineers and trainees in survey techniques and data processing
  • Preparing survey drawings and processing site data (desirable but not essential)
About you

You’ll be proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Essential requirements
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong land surveying skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work safely, including occasionally in remote locations
  • Comfortable working to deadlines
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
Additional desirable experience (not essential)
  • Autodesk or survey processing software
  • Trimble or Leica equipment
  • GNSS, total station, or laser scanning
  • Confined spaces experience (training will be provided if required)
