  • Ability to work quickly to reduce time homes are empty.
  • Valid UK driving licence is required.

About You

Are you an experienced labourer / trade operative with a passion for delivering high quality, efficient and effective services?

Do you have experience working in tenanted or empty homes?

Can you work quickly, keeping the time our homes are left empty to a minimum?

Can you carry out general property repairs, working in our Void Team, supporting out multi-skilled operatives to deliver repairs to our empty homes?

Are you self-motivated and passionate about delivering ‘right first time’ services to customers?

Do you have a wide-ranging knowledge and understanding of trade / building related activities, particularly working in empty homes?

In this crucial role, you will need to
  • Champion the rights of our prospective customers to enjoy a safe, warm and good quality home
  • Be proud of the work you do, taking a proactive approach to delivering great services
  • Have great Health & Safety awareness
  • Establish excellent working relationships with colleagues and contractors
  • Be computer literate or be willing to adopt to software-based systems after training
  • Have a valid UK driving licence
  • Have personal values and an approach that align with our We’re Muir values
