Job description
Overview

Adept Resourcing are recruiting for an international manufacturing business for an entry‑level Laboratory Technician reporting to the Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Support quality and inspection activities by performing product verification tests and maintaining compliance with ISO standards.
  • Perform initial verification tests on approved instruments and accurately record and report results in accordance with company procedures.
  • Carry out administrative tasks to support quality‑related activities and develop a working understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards.
  • Conduct goods‑in inspections upon receipt, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and product specifications, and process and assess customer returns in line with quality procedures.
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer to achieve 100% completion of required verification tests, achieve no major non‑conformities during internal/external audits, complete 100% of goods‑in inspections within 48 hrs of receipt, maintain accuracy in recording test and inspection findings, and complete internal/external training to attain a working understanding of ISO standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work methodically.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
Additional Information
