Job summary

A leading materials testing company in the UK is seeking a Test Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance in exposure gas laboratories. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training preferred, and possess strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and effectively.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
