Job summary

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming Primary School in Gateshead to recruit a KS1 Teacher for a long-term role. This is a setting where children are nurtured as individuals and encouraged to grow into confident, resilient learners who are ready for an ever-changing world.

Key responsibilities:
  • Teaching a KS1 class with a calm, consistent and nurturing approach
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning
  • Creating a safe and inclusive classroom where children feel valued and secure
  • Supporting pupils to become independent, resilient learners
  • Promoting positive behaviour rooted in respect, honesty and kindness
  • Working closely with colleagues to support a strong sense of school community
What we’re looking for
  • UK QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching in KS1

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development
