We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026.

About the role

Year 1 Teacher Permanent (Full-Time)

Start Date: January 2026

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and structured lessons that build on pupils early learning experiences. You will support children’s academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring a smooth transition into Key Stage 1. The role requires a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and a nurturing yet structured approach to classroom practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Supporting pupils transition from EYFS to Year 1
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
  • Contributing to wider school life and development
