At Classroom Recruiters, we're seeking dedicated KS1 Teachers to join a welcoming and well-supported school community in the Derby area. Position Details

• Role: KS1 Teacher
• Location: Mickleover
• Start Date: Within 1-2 weeks
• Roles Available: Full-time, part-time, long-term, and day-to-day
• Pay: £180 - £230 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and assess children's progress, tailoring support to individual needs
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support learning and development
• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is preferred but not essential
• A strong passion for supporting the development of young children
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A commitment to creating an encouraging and engaging learning environment
