KS1 SEND Teacher – Full-time, 1-term contract starting January 2026

This is an excellent opportunity for a KS1 SEND Teacher to join a school that values inclusion and high-quality teaching. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need.

Duties as KS1 SEND Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for KS1 pupils with SEND, ensuring progress and inclusion
  • Lead and manage a team of Teaching Assistants to support learning effectively
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with the SENCO
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence
  • Ensure safeguarding and well-being practices are consistently applied
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Ideal KS1 SEND Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of strategies to support diverse learning needs
