A renowned leisure resort company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Steward/Porter to assist with kitchen duties such as waste disposal and cleaning. This role involves maintaining high hygiene standards and working flexible hours during evenings and weekends. As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team in disposing of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash‑up areas. Your duties will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety, sweeping and mopping floors, and operating pot‑washing machinery as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
Contracts are offered on a flexible basis, meaning your hours and days may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours.
Work hours include public/bank holidays and rota‑based shifts during Christmas and New Year.
