Kitchen Porter – Chelmsford, Essex

Company Description

Holroyd Howe is one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services exclusively to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering services to meet the specific needs of children of all ages in each school.

Salary and Working Hours

£12.00 an hour, working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Usual hours are between 7am to 3pm and 11.30am to 7.30pm, rotating weekly.

Job Description

  • Full-time position, 52 weeks – 37.5 hours per week
  • Assist in the kitchen operation and ensure the kitchen’s cleanliness is maintained at all times
  • Washing pots and pans
  • Assist in accepting and storing deliveries
  • Support chefs in keeping all kitchen areas clean and hygienic
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, including washing up and pot washing
