We are currently looking for a Kitchen Fitter to join our team in The Midlands/Birmingham.

You will be expected to carry out the installation, replacement, and refurbishment of kitchens in occupied and void properties to a high standard of quality and workmanship. The role involves delivering a professional, customer-focused service while ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and client specifications.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
  • Install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, and associated fittings in domestic properties.
  • Carry out removal of old kitchens and preparation works, including minor carpentry, plaster patching, and basic plumbing.
  • Fit appliances and fixtures, ensuring correct alignment and secure fitting.
  • Work from plans, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate installation.
  • Coordinate with other trades (e.g., plumbers, electricians, decorators) to complete works on time.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and finish, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and safety at all times.
  • Record job details using PDA or mobile device where required.
  • Report any additional repairs or property condition issues identified during works.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and company policies.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, particularly in occupied homes.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter / Joiner / Carpenter, ideally within domestic or social housing environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to carry out basic plumbing and minor plastering works.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen layout, fitting standards, and finishing techniques.
  • Experience working in occupied homes, maintaining professionalism and respect for tenants.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
