Overview

EDUCATION, COMMUNITIES AND HOUSING – Corporate Catering – Papdale Primary School – Kitchen Assistant

13.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 09:00 to 14:00 (including 30 minute unpaid break). Permanent, Term Time. £28,864 - £29,173 pro rata / £14.96 - £15.12 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the school meal service at Papdale Primary School. Duties include serving meals, basic food preparation and cooking, operating the till, setting up and clearing down the dining area, washing up and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent.

Other requirements

• You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
• This post is subject to Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG check for working in a regulated role with children.
