About you: You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high quality service. We need someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Assisting the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Helping to keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
  • Under guidance of head cook, maintaining accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
  • Being aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.
Qualifications & Preferences
  • Desired but not essential: Food and hygiene certificate.
  • Previous experience in a similar role; training will be provided.

Requirements
  • Successful applicants would require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (depending on role) and evidence of right to work in the UK.
