Catering and Hospitality - Osprey Court Care Home

Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose-built home located in peaceful Pitcrocknie Village, Alyth. Designed for the complete well-being of our 60 residents, we will provide personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care within a nurturing, multigenerational environment.

We are now looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our brand-new team. Whether you have previous catering experience or are looking to start a new career, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference every day by supporting our chefs and ensuring residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals.

What We Offer

What You Will Do

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, and following food hygiene and safety standards. You will also help with deliveries and stock management, ensuring everything is stored correctly and safely. Above all, you will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling principles
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
  • Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be given
