Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and tidy Kit area.
  • Assemble and pack sample Kits for dispatch.
  • Control the Stock Control system and maintain stock levels.
  • Liaise with Accounts and Sales as necessary.
  • Arrange couriers for sample Kit deliveries.
  • Check items on delivery according to QA procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock and deliveries.
  • Drive for collections and deliveries as required.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks.
  • Handle manual lifting as required.

About the Role

Palace International Ltd. (trading as Spectro | Jet-Care) has been at the forefront of condition monitoring services since 1976. Spectro | Jet-Care offer a comprehensive range of services – Oil, Hydraulic Fluid, Fuel, Debris, and Filter Analysis, and Engine Trend Monitoring by Gas Path Analysis (GPA) – all developed to identify operational issues at the earliest possible stage. With nearly 50 years’ experience and specialist knowledge, our unique partnership approach enables clients to rigorously monitor the condition of equipment – clearly, accurately, and efficiently. Spectro | Jet-Care has customers in more than 140 countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • general housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and orderly Kit area;
  • assemble and pack sample Kits ready for dispatch;
  • control the electronic Stock Control system and maintain specified stock levels;
  • liaise with Accounts and Sales & Marketing as appropriate;
  • arrange couriers to collect sample Kits for delivery;
  • take delivery of goods‑in, checking items as described in Company Quality Assurance procedures;
  • maintain records;
  • driving, e.g. to make collections and deliveries, as required;
  • ad hoc items of general basic maintenance, as required;
  • undertake other duties, as may reasonably be requested;
  • part of the work involves some manual handling/lifting.
Qualifications & Skills
  • be able to work well in a team;
  • be presentable, and have a professional and orderly nature;
  • have multi‑task experience and be able to work without constant supervision;
  • be a careful, methodical and orderly worker;
  • have a flexible attitude and be able to work to tight deadlines;
  • have a reasonable standard of Maths and English and legible handwriting;
  • be PC literate and familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs;
  • have a full clean driving licence with category B. Further driving categories of B+E, C1 and C1+E, would be an advantage but are not essential.
Salary & Benefits

The starting salary is £25,000 pa rising to £26,000 pa after successful probation. Basic working hours are Monday to Friday, 37½ hours per week, 7½ hours per day. Normal day time start/end times to be agreed and set with the manager.

You will be joining a stable and well‑established organisation in state‑of‑the‑art offices offering a very comfortable working environment with a purpose‑built facility. Benefits include annual leave 28 days rising to 33 days pa pro‑rata (inclusive of Bank/Public holidays), work‑related contributory pension scheme, free Wi‑Fi, and on‑site parking.
