A not-for-profit educational organization based in Norwich is seeking a Key Worker to manage and support young people and their families. The role involves building trusting relationships, developing individual support plans, and coordinating interventions aimed at improving educational engagement. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and be flexible in their working environment. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £28,000 pro rata, with actual pay of £25,543.29.

Catch22 include is an alternative education provider for young people, over 700 vulnerable young people with challenging behaviours are supported through independent alternative education schools or via a range of tailored support programmes delivered in school or off-site. Include schools provide an alternative to mainstream schooling, whereby multiple barriers to learning have previously affected engagement and access to education.
Catch22 include Norfolk is an Ofsted registered independent school. It provides full-time, alternative, secondary education for young people who have been excluded from their previous school or pupil referral unit, or who need additional support to what is offered by a mainstream setting.

Catch22 provides young people aged 4 to 18 with alternative and special education in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education or employment. We do this through high quality teaching and learning based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.
As Key Worker at Include Norfolk you will manage, support and develop a group of young people and their families. This will be achieved by building trusting relationships using individual sessions, group work, family visits and other interventions such as reading interventions, writing interventions and targeted support groups. You’ll oversee a holistic person-centred approach to a young person’s journey from entry to exit, bridging the gap between their academic, behavioural and therapeutic needs, whilst simultaneously preparing them for post-16.
The Key Worker will develop individual pupil support plans that brings together internal, external and multi-agency professionals in order to support development, attainment and progression.

Salary: £28,000 pro rata (39 + 2 weeks) - Actual Pay £25,543.29
Weeks per year: 39 weeks (Term time) plus 2 weeks.
Hours: Full-time. Permanent.
Access to a personal vehicle is a requirement for this role.
