A primary educational institution in Worcester is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEND and medical needs. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience working with children, alongside strong organizational and interpersonal skills. This fixed-term role involves providing 1:1 support in a Key Stage One classroom and opportunities for broader class engagement, within a supportive environment dedicated to child welfare.
Grade: TA 2 Points 5-6, £19,739.02 - £20,052.27 per annum
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8.30am – 3.30pm)
Term of contract: Fixed Term linked to the pupil

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications, experience of working with children with differing needs and will join an existing team to support pupils when working in our setting. The ideal person will be trustworthy, reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a thriving, happy team. He/she will have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work under own initiative.
The role will support a pupil with SEND and medical needs within a Key Stage One classroom, helping them engage with class-based learning experiences whilst supporting their wider personal development. Providing 1:1 support for their medical and care needs will form a significant part of the role. There will also be some opportunities for whole class work which follows our whole school approach of working as a team to support pupils and staff at Comberton.
