A leading maintenance services provider in Huddersfield is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee reactive maintenance accounts. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in a similar environment. You will be responsible for scheduling works, managing subcontractors, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication. We\'re looking for an organised and proactive Key Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of reactive maintenance accounts. This is an office-based role where you\'ll play a vital part in keeping things running smoothly for clients and contractors alike.
Scheduling reactive fabric repair works and, when needed, sourcing sub-contractors
Making sure all jobs are scheduled on time and run efficiently
Keeping clients updated on progress and ensuring portals are always up to date
Managing subcontractors and service partners to maintain profitability and quality
Moving jobs through the workflow from start to invoice (both internally and on client systems)
Working closely with sales and management teams to improve processes and create best practices
Running reports to ensure all reactive maintenance works are completed on time
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience in a similar role (ideally within reactive maintenance or services sector)
Confident communicator with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and contractors
A natural problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to build strong relationships across all levels
Experience with job management/CAFM systems (Tradify, JobLogic, Concerto, Vantify, Proactis, Riskwise) would be a huge plus
GCSE (or equivalent) - A-level or above is a bonus but not essential
