Qualifications

• Strong interest in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Previous logistics or transport experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate UK domestic road freight shipments from booking to delivery.
• Liaise with hauliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Book collections and deliveries, tracking shipments and resolving issues.
• Prepare and process transport documentation and job files.
• Provide shipment updates to customers and respond to operational queries.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety, and service standards.
• Support senior operators with general operational and administrative tasks.
