Overview

Our client is a successful importer and supplier of fresh produce. This is a Junior Technical Manager position, reporting to and working alongside the Senior Technical Manager. The role covers all elements within the technical department, from internal support to relationship building with key suppliers and customers, and involves all aspects of technical product documentation including Audit, Food Safety, Compliance, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical department and team on a broad range of activities.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
• Contribute to technical product documentation, including Audit, Food Safety, Compliance, and HACCP.

Qualifications and Experience

• Exposure to Fresh Produce and an understanding of a packhouse/packing environment would be beneficial.
• A year in industry covering a Technical / Quality / QA role would be highly advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is key.
• Strong communication ability.
• Confident IT skills.
