Junior Team Assistant

Temp to Perm

£35,000 - £40,000

I have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Team Assistant to join a close-knit team, working on the trading floor for a City based bank. This is a fantastic ‘foot in the door’ type position for someone who is looking to build on and grow their existing skills and experience. Initially working closely with two Senior Assistants to upskill and learn the ropes, with a view to then take on your own team. It will be a varied role, so the successful assistant will be able to multi-task, be proactive and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Hours 9am – 5pm with flexibility, hybrid working 4:1 available.

What you’ll do:
  • Act as key support to the Senior Assistants and their teams.
  • Manage diaries and schedules, coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Arrange airport transfers and hotel bookings.
  • Create, format, and update PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organise frequent and often complex international travel.
  • Take responsibility for preparing and distributing the team weekly schedule.
  • Coordinate and process all team invoices.Provide cover for other administrative colleagues during periods of absence.
  • Process expenses as required.
What you’ll need:
  • Some previous office based experience, preferably within a financial services or professional services.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Builds and maintains positive, professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Trusted to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
