About Us

VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.

What We Do

We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive, whether reactive repairs or a major project, is completed safely and on time. In order to achieve this, we have 4 core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative.

The Role

At VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and Equans, we’re proud to deliver essential services to the UK’s defence infrastructure. As a Junior Supply Chain Manager based at our DSTL Porton Down site, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our core operations for our DSTL and RFCA contracts by helping shape and deliver a supply chain that’s efficient, responsive, and forward-thinking. You won’t just be sitting behind a desk—you’ll be collaborating with technical experts, building strong supplier relationships, analysing performance data, and making smart decisions that directly influence project success. From sourcing and evaluating suppliers to driving innovation and sustainability, your day-to-day work will have a visible, positive impact on how we deliver for our clients and the wider defence estate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in procurement or supply chain who’s looking for a step up in responsibility. You’ll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team, but also trusted to take initiative and make your mark. Whether you’re reviewing supplier performance, coordinating reviews, running data reports, or identifying new opportunities, every day brings a new challenge to tackle and new skills to grow.

What You\'ll Bring

You’ll need to be organised, detail-driven, and great with data—someone who can juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat. If you love building relationships and enjoy finding smarter, more efficient ways of working, you’ll thrive here. Strong communication skills are essential, and a proactive mindset will take you far.

This role is based at DSTL Porton Down, with occasional travel to RFCA sites as needed. We offer flexible, hybrid working, a supportive team culture, and the chance to grow your career in an organisation that’s committed to developing its people.

Due to the nature of the site, candidates must be British Nationals and SC Clearance will be required.

What We Offer
  • 6% employee matched pension contribution
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Single private medical cover
  • Life assurance 2x annual salary
  • 1 professional subscription per year
